The request for an offer must contain the following information:

– Name of the company;

– Address of the place (s) of consumption;

– The voltage level at the delimitation point (110 kV, 20 kV, 10 kV, 6 kV, 0.4 kV)

– Consumption History;

– The type of tariff currently used.

  1. Step 2: Negotiation and conclusion of the electricity supply contract

For the conclusion of a supply contract, the following documents shall be made available to the supplier in accordance with the Electricity Supply Regulation, Order no. 64 / 14.072015:

  1. a) The request for the conclusion of the electricity supply contract, which contains: the applicant’s name, headquarters, telephone, fax, e-mail address, the names of the legal representatives, and the final customer option for the negotiated offer;
  2. b) The Registration Certificate at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry – the National Trade Register Office, the fiscal code, and the bank transfer account, the name of the bank through which the client carries out the payments; the final customer who according to the legislation does not have these documents presents identification documents according to the applicable law. Documents shall be submitted in original and deposited in copies;
  3. c) The property act or other document attesting the right to use the space in the place of consumption. The document shall be presented in the original and a copy shall be submitted from which, for the protection of the final customer, parts irrelevant to the supply service may be removed.

In cases where the final customer does not have such a document or the document in question is not final, the supplier has the right to request the guarantee of the supply service by the final customer, according to the provisions of art. 34, and to conclude a contract for the supply of electricity for a limited period of time, up to one year with the possibility of extension;

  1. d) The connection certificate or technical connection approval – if the OR did not issue the connection certificate – It is taken from the network contract;
  2. e) The exploitation agreement, in cases where the OR considers it necessary – is taken from the network contract.
  3. Step 3: Drawing up and signing the supply contract

– The supplier receives and registers the request for the conclusion of the electricity supply contract together with the requested documents;

– Drafts the supply contract;

– Forwards to the client the contract for verification and signing in two original copies;

– Informs the client about the steps required to commence delivery within the specified deadline.

  1. Step 4: Changing the energy provider

The change of the electricity supplier is regulated by Order no. 105/2014. This change does not bring additional costs to the customer.

Steps of supplier change process:

– Notice of termination of the existing energy contract, sent to the current supplier, the Distribution Operator and the new supplier, at least 21 days before the proposed supplier change date;

– The supplier fulfills all the formalities necessary for the conclusion of the transport and distribution contracts necessary for carrying out the activity of supplying electricity;

– Within 6 weeks of the termination of the contract, the former supplier sends the final invoice to the customer, except for the regularity of the green certificates. The final customer has the obligation to pay the invoice value up to the due date.

Notice of termination of the existing supply contract

– The customer notifies the termination of the existing supply contract at least 21 days before the proposed date for the change, complying with the contractual terms.

– The notification must comply with the requirements of the Electricity Provider Change Procedure, be clear, unequivocally express the decision to change the supplier, and expressly state the date of termination of the existing contract.

– The customer sends the notification to the current supplier, to the Distribution Operator where the place of consumption and the new supplier are located.

Energy efficiency measures

Energetic efficiency

Energy efficiency is generally based on optimizing consumption, which involves searching for the least energy intensity, “rational use of energy” through more efficient processes and means. Energy efficiency aims at reducing the environmental, economic and social costs induced by production, transport and energy consumption.

Energy efficiency measures mean not just savings in the consumer budget but also a responsible attitude for efficient resource use. In the following we will propose some effective measures that can reduce your thermal energy costs so you enjoy comfort and warmth without the budget be affected by the gas invoice value:

Energy-efficient windows can save up to 50% of the heat lost through the windows

Insulate window joints with self-adhesive gaskets.

Thermally insulate walls, roof and windows to reduce heating costs by up to 50%

By insulating the exterior walls, you can reduce up to 25% of the heating costs

Heat losses through non-insulated spaces can account for more than 30% of the total heat loss in the cold season.

Do not heat buildings at higher temperatures than necessary.

Open the windows wide for short periods of time so that the spaces get airy and warm up faster. Heat losses are higher if you leave the windows open for long periods of time.

Insulate heat pipes especially for those which cross unheated spaces (halls, basements, and garages, warehouses) to minimize heat loss.

Prepare heating installation with authorized personnel and only after a preliminary calculation has been done, as a well-sized heating system will reduce your natural gas consumption and implicitly the value of your invoice. Ensure that radiators are not covered by curtains or other objects to prevent heat exchange between the radiator and ambient air, and ventilate the radiators as often as necessary.

The heating and air conditioning systems should not operate in the same room at the same time.

Using hot water

Set a lower DHW temperature in the boiler so that it does not need to be combined with cold water. We bring to your attention the fact that an apartment house that prepares both heat and domestic hot water, the consumption of natural gas is maximum when the hot water is prepared. Too high water temperature causes heat to be stored and discharged.

Replace thebathtubs with showers  as much as possible to reduce the consumption of hot water and thus natural gas, the hot water consumption will be reduced by at least 2 times.

Ensure optimal operation of gas-consuming appliances. Ask for the support from their authorized installers for burner adjustment, checking of water filters and limescale deposits on pipes at least once a year (preferably at the beginning of the cold season) so as to avoid excessive consumption of natural gas.

Stop the gas boilers and their flame during the summer. Running out of boilers is waste. The flame of gas boilers consumes much gas. Do not proceed with boiler heating if there is no need for heat in the work areas. Some boilers continue to heat, although the thermostat or timer switch has been turned off. This is an unnecessary expense when there is no need for heat. Write down the boiler efficiency. The combustion residues cause the gas temperature to rise in the combustion ducts and cause increased heat losses. And the boiler stone formation can lead to increased gas temperature in the combustion pipes. Feed the heating system and the hot water system from different boilers. The subdivision allows the summer heating boiler to be switched off and savings made in this way.

The boiler installation must be of a size appropriate to meet the needs of the enterprise. Exploiting a larger boiler than is necessary leads to wastage of money. Consider replacing larger installations and installing a smaller boiler for periods of less heat.

High performance equipment

Replace the old non-performing boiler or stoves with a forced draft thermal plant and a firing chamber (92% efficiency) or with a condensing thermal plant (yield of approx. 98%) to achieve energy savings of up to 25% or more.

Use an ambient thermostat that controls the operation of the boiler, taking into account the temperature set in the room where it is mounted and not the radiator temperature and which results in a reduction of heating costs by up to 30%.

Install thermostatic head valves on the radiators to control the radiant heat flow in each room.

Combustion boilers are more efficient because they extract the maximum possible heat from the combustion gases.

Insulate all boilers. Uninsulated boilers lose heat, this causes extra high expenses.
